Prof.Dr.J.D.Dhake,Director,AEC,Dr.S.Mukhopadhay,Head,Dept.of Textile Engineering Dept and Prof. S. C. Kidile of Textile Engineering attended an International conference on Fibrous Materials, Nonwovens and Technical Textiles held at Jenny club, Coimbatore from 7th to 9th  August.

                       Dr. Mukhopadhay presented a paper on Banana fibers (jointly with Prof .J. D. Dhake) and another on Human hair reinforced composites in the conference. It was the first conference co-sponsored by the prestigious AATCC (USA) and International Nonwoven Development Association, (INDIA) USA.
