Civil Engineering
For
teaching the
compulsory subjects like Engineering Mechanics i.e. Statics and Dynamics,
Mechanics of
Material, Strength of Material, Civil Engineering department was established
from the establishment of the
Institute.
Mechanics is the physical science concerned with the dynamic behavior of
material bodies in the presence of mechanical disturbances. Since such a
behavior is of interest to different branches of engineering, it is appropriate
to conclude that the subject Mechanics lies at the core of all Engineering
Subjects. The subject comprises the foundation for number of other Engineering
subjects that are to be built upon it. It develops the thinking ability and
analytical and problem solving affitude of the Engineering students.
The department has its own fully developed laboratory for the practical of the
subjects taught like Engineering Mechanics, Mechanics of Material and Strength
of Material, Laboratory includes the material testing machines like Universal
Testing Machine (UTM), Impact testing Machine, etc.
Besides teaching Civil Engineering department is playing vital role’in the
development of the Institute. Most of the civil engineering works are executed
by the department. All intro structural development of the institute was
completed under the supervision of Civil Engineering department.

Electrical
Engineering
Engineer is incomplete without the knowledge of the ever essential and ever
important Electrical Engineering. With this view, the budding engineers of all
branches are taught the essentials of Electrical Engineering. There are Basic
electrical Engineering & machine laboratories, which includes various
experimental kits for verification of theorems & bridges for measurements of
various active & passive components, Machine lab includes Various d.c. monitors,
phase & 3 phase Induction motors M G Sets. 3phase rectifier units etc.
Electrical Engineering department also extend their hands towards the need of
maintenance of various electrical equipments used in all parent branches.
This department also looking otter the maintenance of campus street light &
other electrical maintenance required by our sister concerns like Anuradha
College ot Pharmacy, Mungsap Maharoj Co oprartive spinning
